When your works and doings become more to you than the good relationships that led you to success; then you must measure the cost of the so called success you have attained. Perhaps it's not as this world magnifies it to be.
If you are not in relationship with God the good father and creator of all living things, then you are out of relationship and don't know who you really are. You are not rightly equipped to nurture the relationships you now currently have. If you have to be in total control all the time that's a dangerous place to be in. At times you will have a sense of being in control and may even gravitate to such a lifestyle but unless you humble yourself and seek God you're just waiting to die without hope. I do mean to be very strait and unflexing in my descriptions of life without knowing Jesus Christ as saviour and lord. Nevertheless being strait has great advantages to it and truth is the best one I can think of now.
In the Holy Bible the book of Mathew in chapter 7 Jesus Christ is speaking and teaching on the meaning of life and warns as he points out the way to life, and to having a great life. One of the verses that really sets things apart is
