Turning Your Heart Away From Sin

Proverbs 28:13 & Romans 6

Sin will keep you from prospering, It is sure that God does want you to prosper. For you to prosper and bring glory to Him in all things. Sin is always a danger to you no matter how insignificant or minutes the act is. Confess your sin to God and prosper, uncover your sin, and acknowledging it.

Confession, the act of exposing it yourself, acknowledge it to be a stain on who God has said you are. Sin has a penalty and that penalty is death, don't let sin reign in your mortal body that you should obey in, in its lusts and cravings. Your body was not made to be inhabited with sin. Sin is a violation of the perfect sanctity and purpose of the human being and the human body. Sin is a destructive element whose commitment is to separate us from the love of God. Sin is like a lover that has no investment in your life, unable to bring you blessed peace. Sin's aim is to ultimately bring you to death, through a path and lifestyle that is in total disregard for your spirit and exalts itself in prideful disobedience.

So today when you hear the word of God calling to you to repent, take him at his word and respond by an act of you're total surrender. The surrender of your will and heart, in acknowledgment of your life of sin.  By Your own words, confess to the Lord Jesus that you now are repenting. To repent means that you are turning to go in a different direction, a change of mind, with your willingness to change your mind.

Prayer for Salvation
"Lord Jesus forgive me of all my sins and come into my life and save me from my sin, be my Lord and Savior. '' Amen!

Repentance is to turn from your current sinful lifestyle and way of living to a new way. The way of life in Jesus Christ that brings true peace and eternal life. This life is in Jesus Christ who paid the price of all your sin so that as you believe and trusting in him, you will receive new life in Christ. Today if this word has stirred you to make that step towards a new life, then in your own words pray to God along these lines...

Oh God, I come to you in the name of Jesus Christ your Son, I confess to you that I am a sinner and I need your forgiveness. I surrender my heart to you now and I turn away from my sinful life. I receive you Lord Jesus into my heart as my Lord and savior amen!
