Know Him Diary 09/04/1998

This morning as I began to pray, that I should know the Lord by now, really spoke to my heart. The thought that I must grow from just believing to knowing, was kind of a revelation to me. Here's a scripture that speaks about knowing.

Job 19:25,26

For I know that my redeemer liveth, and that he shall stand at the latter day upon the earth: 26 And though after my skin worms destroy this body, yet in my flesh shall I see God.

I remember when I was about 15 years old, when I first became a Christian, I didn't know all there was to know about the word of God: but I knew that I knew that what God had said in the bible was true. it was kind of strange, no one or nothing could convince me otherwise. God's truth has become apart of my being. Sometimes when you believe something, it can be shaken but when you know something it can never be shaken. Knowing something brings total confidence, totally destroying doubt.

The above was not complete on the day I wrote it but perhaps it was all my soul needed to acknowledge at that moment in time. So I won't even try to add anything more to it, only that I pray that you will experience a revelation in you your life when you read it.
